Rotary members are busy in our community in the month leading up to Christmas, and you may see them helping out at several events. In the past, the Milson Rotary Club has organised the parking for the Magic of Christmas Night Market, and all proceeds go back into the community. This year, they have also assisted StarLight in preparing Christmas cheer bags for people with mental health issues and have supervised the Tree of Remembrance at The Plaza.

Additionally, they have hosted members who have raised funds through biking in the US and New Zealand for the Beyondwater project, which aims to provide clean water and sanitation facilities to East Africans. In 2022, Beyondwater planned to raise $50,000 to build 10 blocks of toilets at schools, improving sanitation for at least 4,000 children.
Rotary is also committed to making a difference on a global scale. The organization has contributed $3 million towards purchasing generators, ambulances, and medical supplies for civilians affected by the war in Ukraine. They have also sponsored candidates for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) and the National Science and Technology forum.
