Are you looking for more than just a networking group? Do you want to be part of a community that actively works to improve Palmerston North while building lasting friendships?

Welcome to Milson Rotary. We are a group of "everyday people" from all walks of life, united by a common desire to give back and create positive change. If you are looking to volunteer, expand your local network, or simply make new friends, you will find a welcoming home with us.

A Legacy of Local Impact

Joining Milson Rotary means becoming part of a powerful force for good in the Manawatū region. We don't just talk about change; we fund it and build it.

We take immense pride in our history of supporting local charities. Through major fundraisers, such as our annual Charity Golf Tournament, we have raised over $250,000 in the past two decades.

We are proud to support deserving organisations including:

  • Arohanui Hospice

  • The Palmerston North Food Bank

  • Ronald McDonald House

  • Palmerston North Surf Life Saving Club

  • Life Education Trust

  • Butterfly Compassion Charity

Hands-On Projects and Youth Support

Our commitment goes beyond fundraising. We are actively involved in hands-on projects that improve our local environment, such as the Green Corridor Environmental Project.

We also invest heavily in the future leaders of Palmerston North by sponsoring youth programmes like the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA).

Friendship and Fun at the Core

While our service work is serious, making a difference should be enjoyable. We break the mould of "stuffy" meetings. Our club is built on a foundation of camaraderie, where meetings are an opportunity to share a laugh and connect with a diverse group of people.

We mix business with pleasure through frequent social events, including:

  • The annual "Great Milson Mini Golf Showdown"

  • Group dinners and casual outings

  • Community engagement events
