This exciting, residential weekend is packed with opportunities to listen to inspirational guest speakers and engage in a variety of outdoor activities designed to boost your self-worth and teamwork skills.
Who is RYPEN for? RYPEN is perfect for teens who have demonstrated qualities like decency, courage, persistence, sincerity, leadership, and dedication in their daily lives. If you’re looking for further development and guidance, this camp is for you!
Event Details:
- Dates: Friday, October 4 - Sunday, October 6, 2024
- Location: Kawhatau Outdoor Education Centre (KOEC), Mangaweka
- Hosted by: Rotary clubs and chapters from the Rangitikei and Manawatu areas

Our goal is to present a series of ideas, challenges, and social experiences that will foster resilience and personal growth. Group activities are a key strategy in achieving this.
Nomination Guidelines:
- Participants: Maximum of 38 teens.

- Gender Balance: A mix of genders is encouraged to ensure balanced teams and activities.
Please note, we are looking for teens who have not previously participated in similar outdoor pursuit experiences. If you know a suitable candidate, or need suggestions, please reach out to your local secondary school.
